Important note:

  1. When exit pending it means the exit trades of the strategies are pending
  2. So it will trigger exit for all the open positions.
  3. Please make sure to exit the strategy and all poitions before market hours close if its an intraday strategy.
  4. The status of strategy should be exited before market closes. Else it gets exited on the next day when market opens by placing Exit Trades. So please monitor your positions at broker terminal in case of trades you do not want and can close the positions manually.
  5. Never let your strategy go into exit pending.
  6. You will be able to delete the deployment with Exit Pending Status only if it is your Own strategy (not marketplace) and if Quantity Open is Nil.

Question: Why the Strategy goes in “Exit-Pending” Status:

Answer:

  1. The strategy has not exited properly due to error in strategy conditions with regards to Universal Exit Time / RMS Squareoff Time / Last condition check before market close as per advanced settings has not been set properly.
  2. If the Strategy has gone into “Error-Execution” and the issue has not been resolved during market hours, The strategies in Error Execution will automatically move to “Exit Pending” status post market hours.
  3. The trader has closed the positions manually from the broker terminal, but the same cannot be recorded at Tradetron end, hence if not closed from tradetron, the strategy can go into Exit Pending status.
  4. If the strategy has been “Paused” during market hours, and if a client tries to exit the strategy post market hours, the strategy can go into Exit Pending Status.

Steps to resolve “Exit-Pending” Issue:

  1. Please check if there are any “open positions” that are not squared off as per Tradetron strategy details page.
  2. If there are open positions, then it will be exited in the first round when the market opens the very next day at 9.15 am. Please keep a track of your positions at broker terminal next morning so that you can manage and manually exit the positions if necessary.
  3. If there are no open positions as per Tradetron strategy details page, then it will automatically be changed to “Exited” at 7 pm in the evening of the current day, as per our tech run. Still if it is not exited, please connect with us the very next morning at 9 am when the chat window opens and provide us the “Strategy ID”. We will exit the strategy from backend. Once Exited, You can either activate it or Delete or Archive it as per your wish.

Note:

If the Strategy that is in Exit-Pending is your Own strategy (not marketplace) and if Quantity Open is Nil, then it will allow you to delete the deployment.
