How to Exit repair position in Married put strategy?

Hello

Example:

  1. Bought future at 20000
  2. I buy an ATM put. Say ATM strike price is 19900
  3. I sell the Put bought in step 2.

My question is how do I ask tradetron to sell the put in step 2.

set 1 Entry: I am buying a future.
In Repair continuous 1 buy a put
In Repair continuous 2 I want to close the put position bought. how?
set 1 exit: Exit all positions in set 1, entry and repair conditions, bringing positions to nil

Note: I have exactly same set 2 with same future, but conditions are in different time frame

Can you bit more elaborate on your strategy. ? Reason for using “Repair Continuous” instead of “Repair Once”?

To answer your question- Yes. You can use Reapir2 to exit the one traded in Repair1. If Reapir1 is Buy trade and take Sell trade in Repair2 once conditions satisfy.

Strategy:
My principal profit expectation is in future.
however, in small downturns I want to limit the drawdown i buy put.
when the trend resumes I want to let go off the put position, and carry on with future alone.
keep doing this till the set exit condition is met.

how to exit the instrument i traded in buying put?
the strikeprice might have changed.

Note: I can achieve this using extra set but would prefer using repair.

Use formula in position builder to select strike price. Select strike of traded instrument of repair1

Formula for strike looks OK.
You can also use formula for expiry.
There in fx you can chose “Traded Instrument Name” and then select expiry in the field.
