I want to create a strategy over all the stocks of the bank nifty, How can I do so?
You can select Lists under instruments, there are some predefined lists like NIFTY 50, BANK NIFTY etc by default.
You can also create your own lists of stocks. Though it is recommended that the list should not exceed 40-50 stocks.

Considering the list used here is Nifty50 and suppose five stocks are returned as the result of the condition, how to configure position builder to take entry only in these five stocks ?

No it will not help. I would not suggest you go higher than 50 to 100 stocks. If you need to have more stocks add it as separate lists.
