Folks, is there anyway to check the logic/syntax etc. before running the backtest or going Live.
For ex: I use a few new keywords and not sure if the logic/syntax would work. There should be a way to check logic before running backtest. Backtest takes at least 2 days for results so it’s just so much wastage before finding that a simple logic doesn’t work. Fix it and wait another 2 days!
Any idea why backtest takes 2+ days for 6 months backtesting? Platforms like Streak, Stockmock gets it done in few seconds. I can understand a day but all this leads to significant wait time.
And the backtest reports are also sometimes incomplete… shows only 1 month. Not sure why - there is no reasoning provided… please help.
